In her rookie season in the NPF, Nadia signed a free agent contract on February 3rd, 2014 for the 2014 Akron Racers season. She made her Racers debut on Opening Day, May 29, 2014 vs Chicago Bandits.
The Akron Racers, the oldest existing women’s professional fastpitch team in the NPF, began play in 1999 as a member of the WPSL. The restructuring of the league took place after the 2000 season. The league, under its new moniker, National Pro Fastpitch, (NPF), returned to the diamond in 2004. The City of Akron invested $3.5 million into renovating historic Firestone Stadium in 1999 to welcome the Racers to Akron. The Racers claimed their first league title in 2005. Over the past 15 years, the Racers have transformed Firestone Stadium into a destination for numerous amateur tournaments and events including the 2007 NCAA II National Tournament, the MAC Championships and the OHSAA Girls Softball Tournament.

Nadia Taylor signed a 2 year deal with Dallas Charge on June 1st, 2015, and had an excellent debut season with the new franchse. She led team in home runs and RBIs in their inagural season, and thrilled fans when she hit a walk-off vs the PA Rebellion in extra innings.
The Dallas Charge began competition in the National Pro Fastpitch league in 2015. The Charge provide elite softball players the opportunity to pursue a professional career and inspire the next generation of professionals. Located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, the Charge organization and its players are committed to demonstrating leadership in community involvement, entertainment, and professionalism.
In the fall of 2016, the Dallas Charge changed their name to Texas Charge and moved from McKinney, TX to central Texas.

National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) is headquartered in Nashville, Tenn. The league, created to give elite female fastpitch players the opportunity to pursue a professional career in their chosen sport, has operated since 1997 under the names of Women’s Pro Fastpitch (WPF) and Women’s Pro Softball League (WPSL). NPF is the Official Development Partner of Major League Baseball in the category of women’s fastpitch softball and has been since 2002.

NPF, formerly the Women's Pro Softball League, is intended to provide family entertainment for people of all ages and to showcase the top talent in fastpitch softball today. It is the goal of the League to entertain and provide positive role models for young people. NPF demonstrates work ethic, dedication, and love for the sport of fastpitch softball. NPF athletes exhibit this through their actions, both on-and-off the field. They are prominent people within their communities and appreciate and embrace the fans that follow their play through NPF action.
Four Teams will compete in 2014 with additional teams expected in 2015 due to on-going expansion efforts. NPF is committed to building a national television schedule and finding solid partners with whom we share a common audience attraction and reach-ability. In the 2014 season, NPF action will air on television with broadcast schedule TBA. All regular season games will also be streamed live during the 2014 season and can be connected for free by selecting the link on any Team website or the League website at www.profastpitch.com. TV and live video streaming will provide consistent and measurable return for our sponsors, partners, and suppliers.
NPF is dedicated to working with partners who will commit to the effort of promoting NPF and supporting professional fastpitch softball in the United States and continues to develop and build working relationships with key fastpitch organizations such as the world’s largest amateur sports organization, USSSA. Since 2005, NPF has enjoyed the status of Official Developmental Partner of Major League Baseball.

Chicago Bandits
The Chicago Bandits have reached one-year deal with veteran third baseman Nadia Taylor, team officials announced on Wednesday.
Taylor, who spent the past three seasons with the Texas Charge, clubbed 10 home runs and added 32 RBI while batting .321 during an All-NPF campaign in 2017. Her home run and RBI totals topped the team.
“Nadia’s a true professional who has helped grow the game of softball in numerous facets,” Bandits general manager Toni Calmeyn said. “We’re eager to have her arrive in Rosemont and look forward to seeing her contribute in our lineup.”
In three years with the Charge, Taylor cemented herself as one of the game’s most potent threats at the plate, recording 31 extra-base hits and 55 RBI in that span. Prior to joining the Charge in 2015, Taylor spent her rookie campaign with the Akron Racers.
She became a free agent after the Charge franchise folded following the conclusion of the 2017 season.
A resident of New Orleans, Louisiana Taylor played collegiately at the University of Texas, where she earned All-Big 12 recognition in each year and broke the school record for career doubles.
